2. 数据处理说明
本扩展仅在您主动使用时处理以下临时数据：
2.1 字幕文本
- 用途：从当前 YouTube 视频页面提取字幕文本，发送至后端 AI 服务（tubescript.base.db.com）生成口播稿。
- 存储方式：字幕文本仅用于本次 AI 生成请求，生成完成后 不在服务器端保留。
- 传输安全：通过 HTTPS/TLS 加密传输。
2.2 YouTube Cookie
- 用途：仅用于向 YouTube 请求需要登录才能访问的视频字幕（如年龄限制视频）。
- 存储方式：Cookie 仅在本地浏览器中使用，不会被上传至后端服务器或任何第三方。
- 权限声明：此功能需要
cookies 权限，该权限的用途已在 Chrome 扩展权限说明中明确列出。
2.3 用户偏好设置
- 用途：记住您上次选择的脚本模式（短视频/小红书/长视频），以提升使用便利性。
- 存储方式：使用 Chrome 浏览器的
storage API，数据 仅存储在您的本地浏览器中。
- 控制权：您可以随时在 Chrome 扩展管理页面清除这些本地数据。
3. 数据共享与第三方
- 后端 AI 服务：字幕文本会发送至我们自有服务器（tubescript.base.db.com）进行 AI 处理。该服务器仅接收字幕纯文本，不含任何用户身份信息。
- DeepSeek API：AI 生成功能调用 DeepSeek API，仅传输字幕文本内容。
- 除此之外：我们 不会 与任何其他第三方共享您的任何数据，因为我们根本 不收集 您的数据。
4. 数据安全
- 所有网络通信均通过 HTTPS/TLS 加密。
- 后端服务不持久化存储任何字幕内容或用户请求记录。
- 我们不会将任何数据用于广告、营销或用户画像。
5. 您的权利
由于我们根本不收集您的个人数据，您无需行使数据访问、更正或删除的权利。
您可以随时从 Chrome 浏览器中卸载本扩展，这将自动清除扩展在本地存储的所有偏好设置。
6. 儿童隐私
本扩展不面向 13 岁以下儿童，也不会有意收集儿童的个人信息。
如果我们发现意外收集了儿童的信息，将立即删除。

Welcome to TubeScribe (the "YouTube AI Transcript" Chrome browser extension, hereinafter "the Extension").
We deeply value your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Extension handles your data.
1. What We Do NOT Collect
The Extension is designed with the principle of minimum data access, zero data collection. Specifically:
- No Personal Information: We do not collect your name, email, address, phone number, IP address, or any personally identifiable information.
- No Browsing History: We do not record, track, or analyze your web browsing behavior.
- No Analytics/Tracking: The Extension contains no third-party analytics SDKs (such as Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel) or tracking cookies.
- No Device Information: We do not collect your operating system, device model, screen resolution, or similar information.
2. Data Processing Details
The Extension processes the following temporary data only when you actively use it:
2.1 Subtitle Text
- Purpose: Extract subtitle text from the current YouTube video page and send it to the backend AI service (tubescript.base.db.com) to generate narration scripts.
- Storage: Subtitle text is only used for the current AI generation request and is not retained on the server after completion.
- Transmission: Encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
2.2 YouTube Cookies
- Purpose: Used solely to request subtitles from YouTube for videos that require login (e.g., age-restricted videos).
- Storage: Cookies are used only in your local browser and are never uploaded to the backend server or any third party.
- Permission Notice: This feature requires the
cookies permission, whose purpose is explicitly stated in the Chrome extension permission disclosure.
2.3 User Preferences
- Purpose: Remember your last selected script mode (short video / Xiaohongshu / long video) for improved convenience.
- Storage: Uses Chrome's
storage API. Data is stored exclusively in your local browser.
- Control: You may clear this local data at any time from the Chrome extension management page.
3. Data Sharing & Third Parties
- Backend AI Service: Subtitle text is sent to our own server (tubescript.base.db.com) for AI processing. The server receives only plain subtitle text, with no user identity information.
- DeepSeek API: AI generation calls the DeepSeek API, transmitting only subtitle text content.
- Beyond This: We do not share any of your data with any other third parties, because we simply do not collect your data.
4. Data Security
- All network communications are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
- The backend service does not persistently store any subtitle content or user request logs.
- We do not use any data for advertising, marketing, or user profiling.
5. Your Rights
Since we do not collect your personal data at all, you do not need to exercise rights to access, correct, or delete data.
You may uninstall the Extension from Chrome at any time, which will automatically clear all locally stored preferences.
6. Children's Privacy
The Extension is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected information from a child, we will delete it immediately.
7. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be posted on the same page,
